Frequently Asked Questions

Nutritionist - Partnerships FAQs

  • What is Compete Like Pros (CLP)?

CLP is a mobile and digital platform built to elevate athletes through high-performance training, content, experiences, and partnerships. We help athletes—from youth to pros—access the tools, support, and exposure they need to grow.

  • What role do sports nutritionists play in CLP?

Nutritionists are critical to our holistic approach to athlete development. You’ll help educate, guide, and support athletes in fueling correctly to reach performance goals safely and sustainably—whether through content, consultations, or activations.

  • Will I be compensated for my time or appearances?

Yes. Compensation is determined per engagement and scope. We offer paid opportunities for live events, content creation, consulting, branded content, or educational programming. No unpaid use of your time or expertise will occur without prior agreement.

  • Will I be required to travel?

Travel is not required unless explicitly agreed upon. Many opportunities can be done virtually or pre-recorded. For in-person events, we cover travel, accommodations, and meals when applicable, as long as terms are confirmed in advance.

  • Can I bring my own products or supplements?

Yes, if it aligns with CLP’s health and safety standards. We encourage partners to share trusted tools or products they use with athletes, but we require transparency and proper certifications for anything distributed or promoted.

  • Will I have creative input into the content we collaborate on?

Absolutely. We want your expertise and voice to shine. You’ll approve any final versions of video, quotes, articles, or guides before publication. We’ll collaborate on structure, tone, and delivery to make sure it represents you well.

  • What type of athletes will I be working with?

Our athlete community includes youth (ages 8+), high school teams, college players, and sometimes professionals. Based on your experience, we’ll align you with the best fit—whether that’s young athletes, elite performers, or their parents/coaches.

  • Do I need to be licensed or certified to partner with CLP?

Yes. You must have relevant certifications, credentials, or verifiable experience in sports nutrition, dietetics, or performance fueling. We prioritize RDs, CNSs, or performance nutritionists with youth or team experience.

  • Will CLP promote my personal brand or business?

Yes, where relevant. We highlight our expert partners through co-branded content, spotlights, and social features. We’re happy to promote your consulting services, speaking engagements, and public events—especially if they serve our athlete base.

  • How do you handle liability or health disclaimers?

We require that all nutrition guidance follows current best practices, is evidence-based, and includes appropriate disclaimers. If working directly with athletes, liability insurance and consent protocols will be discussed before any engagement.

  • Can I share CLP content on my own social media or site?

Yes. Once we finalize and publish branded content, you’re encouraged to share it across your platforms. We’ll provide copies or co-branded versions of reels, posts, or graphics for your use—with proper credit and tagging.

  • What kinds of content do you want from me?

    Think short, powerful, and athlete-focused:

    • Pre-game meal prep ideas
    • Recovery snack recommendations
    • Hydration tips
    • “What’s in my bag” supplement talk
    • Myth-busting (e.g., protein timing, sugar, creatine)
    • Advice for high-performance school days (especially for teens)

We’re also open to full-length articles, workshop slides, or athlete Q&A sessions.

  • Is this a one-time or ongoing partnership?

That depends on fit and mutual interest. We offer one-time collaborations (content or event) as well as long-term contributor or brand ambassador roles. Our goal is to build authentic, recurring relationships with experts who care about athlete impact.

  • Will I work directly with athletes, or only behind the scenes?

Both are possible. You may speak at events, lead virtual Q&As, create content series, or develop guides used by our partner coaches. Based on your goals, we’ll match you with the right format and involvement level.
