Frequently Asked Questions

Photo/Videographers - Partners FAQs

  • What does CLP/Soxcessful® expect from content creators?

We expect reliability, professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to tell compelling athlete-first stories in a fast-paced, sports-centric environment. We value creators who can capture energy, motion, personality, and detail across all types of settings.

  • Who owns the content we capture?

CLP operates under a work-for-hire model — which means all final footage, raw files, and media captured are owned by Compete Like Pros (Powered by Soxcessful®) and our clients/partners unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may still tag and spotlight you for promotion and visibility.

  • Can I use the content for my personal portfolio or social media?

Yes — once content is published by CLP, we encourage creators to repost and credit it as part of their body of work. Please don’t release unreleased or sensitive content prior to official launch.

  • Do I have to attend every event in person?

No. Some creators are hired just to edit remotely. Others are on the ground with the team. If you travel with us or attend events, we’ll cover mileage, hotel, or meals based on pre-approved budget and terms.

  • What kind of content do you regularly produce?

    CLP/Soxcessful® content includes:

    • Athlete highlight reels
    • Game day recaps
    • “Train like a pro” sessions
    • Gear/product drops
    • Social-first mini-docs
    • Behind-the-scenes stories
    • Interviews and testimonialsSponsored content for brand partners

  • How fast is the turnaround time?

For same-day coverage (event reels, try-on edits), we prefer 6–12 hour turnaround. For recap videos, 48–72 hours is ideal. Longer projects or documentaries will have custom timelines. We’ll always communicate clearly.

  • Do I need to show up with a full gear setup?

We prefer creators who can bring their own tools (camera, mics, gimbal, SD cards, etc.), but if you’re paired with our team, we may supply extras. Drone pilots must be certified and follow FAA/local regulations.

  • Will I be credited publicly?

Yes! We tag creators, share BTS, and encourage networking. You’ll also be prioritized for repeat gigs based on consistency and delivery.

  • Can I work under my own brand name?

Yes. You’re a creator — we respect that. Just know that projects are presented under the CLP/Soxcessful® brand umbrella. We’ll gladly mention or feature your business in select cases (IG, reels, blog write-ups).

  • How do I apply or get started?

Fill out the onboarding form, send your best work, and we’ll review and follow up with opportunities based on fit, location, and availability.
